I have a new site up to showcase my photography. It will be less art and more... well I don't know, it is just a better way for me to show the stuff that I do.

Someone stole my bike!

I've been so bad about blogging on here and my official site, [link]. I will work on doing a better job at that... Meanwhile, someone stole my precious little Specialized Hard Rock Comp with all the trimmings. I'm very sad!

In The Golden State of Mind

Being back in California reminds me of all the things that used to make me so happy. The weather, the people, the land and life, it is all America's best here.

I am hoping to meet up with some fellow photographers while I'm here to see how they do the awesome photography that they do.

Right now I'm sitting at Aroma Roasters enjoying the coffee shop I patronized so much just a little over a year ago.

I can't believe I left this place.

So... Here in Columbia the weather has turned bitter cold. We dropped some 50-60 degrees within a few hours, so going out to take pictures is a bit daunting.

I'm really excited about this deviantART thing. I have made some really wonderful friends already and have gotten ideas of the type of photography I want to do and how to improve what I have been doing.

I'm here to learn and really do appreciate all the praise and criticism, keep it coming!

I really want to find a way to use photography to take ordinary things and make them appear extraordinary. Or even better, take ugly things and make them beautiful. I guess it's all about lighting, angles and saturation; and there's Photoshop.

I haven't really touched Photoshop so much but seeing what some of my comrades are doing... it looks to be an inviting form of expression.

I'm going to go through my catalog of old pictures and find some cool ones to put up, maybe Photoshop them into something quite different than where they started. This is all so exciting for me, if you have any tips please send them my way!
